Here are some highlights at the event.
1. Collective Memory. This display is for those who have lived through the 90s. On display is a collection of about 1900 CDs threaded together in a huge web. This serves to remind what used to be popular in the past is no longer in use today. 2. Light Canvas. This is an interactive installation where you can use your phone's flashlight to 'draw' on a blank canvas. You will get an illuminated trail of your drawing on the canvas. 3. Lightwave: Isle of Light. You need to pay to enter this section. It provides a totally Instagrammable experience. There are 5 different zones and each zone showcases different animations including holographic projections. There are also multiple spots for photos. 4. Firefly Field. This light installation literally makes you feel like you are in a field full of fireflies. The 'fireflies' were made to move up and down in different directions, and they appear to be 'flying around'. Once you are done with taking pictures for IG and you are feeling hungry, you can drop by the nearby GastroBeats to grab yourself some delicious treats and drinks. You can also get to listen to live music at this event. Check out the official website for more information. You might also be interested in: Bangkok Jam Food Review.
It comes with a generous amount of dried bonito flakes, okonomiyaki sauce, and mayonnaise. For this Okonomiyaki, it seems to be deep-fried instead of being cooked on a hot plate. Overall rating 4 out of 5 stars.
The Half-Half chicken comes with 2 flavours ie soy garlic and spicy sauce. The overall taste did not disappoint, and it taste very much like any other fried chicken brands in the market. I would give this 4 out of 5 stars as well. The Budae Jjigae (Korean stew) looks plain and lifeless when it was presented to us. It comes with a variety of ingredients such as spam luncheon meat, sausages, kimchi, chicken and also tteokbokki. As it turns out, the plain looking dish turned 'red' during cooking. The taste was not too bad, just a tad too spicy for me to handle. Would I eat it again? Probably not. This gets a 3 out of 5 stars. You might also be interested in: Riverside Grilled Fish
