This took me about 2.5 hours to assemble. It is based on the Singapore city area, where you can see the Marina Bay Sands, Merlion, Singapore Flyer and the Singapore river (supposedly). This is a fully functional wooden assembly that you can rotate using the turn lever.

Outlet hose faucet timer. Citrus by the pool is located just outside the Woodlands swimming complex, thus the name of its restaurant. It serves a wide variety of fusion food, primarily western and Asian food fusion. This is not the first time I'm eating here. In this video, I will showcase the 3 dishes we ordered.
The restaurant has a good vibe around it, and it is very suitable for couples to go on a date. So if you are staying nearby, you might want to bring your date for a meal. The first dish that we ordered is the Thai green curry seafood pasta. It has a very aromatic green curry taste, with just the right amount of coconut milk in it. The seafood also taste very fresh and I would say the portion is very decent as well. The second paste is the chilli crab seafood pasta. This dish is rather decent, and it has lots of garlic taste in it. So this is more like a garlic dish than a chilli crab dish. It is not very spicy, and it would be better if there is more sauce. I would also expect some eggs in the dish, typical of chilli crab, but I did not find any. The side dish that we ordered is the honey garlic chicken. This is a new dish that we have not seen before on previous visits. The chicken is coated generously with honey, and it comes with a light hint of garlic taste. There is also a generous amount of garlic in this dish. I would strongly recommend this dish as it makes a great fusion between garlic and honey chicken. There is also one staff walking around asking for feedback on the dishes. He could be the manager or owner. All in all, I'm very pleased with the food and ambience and would return again. So I decided to go on a random river cruise by WaterB. It was the second last day of the KAWS: Holiday Singapore exhibition, so might as well try out the river cruise since I am in the vicinity.
This is an approximately 40 minutes tour that starts from the Bayfront North booth. Then the cruise will head towards Anderson bridge, passing by the Parliament House, before making a detour at Clarke Quay. See here for complete landmarks tour. Approximately 1.5 hours with a minimum of 2 pax to go. Andes, a halal food establishment under the Aston's brand, has just launched a series of convenience food at 7-11. I decided to give it a try.
1. Beef balls in mushroom sauce. The mushroom sauce is rich in flavours, and the beef balls are rather chewy. The mashed potato is also good to eat on its own, even though it looks a little plain. 2. Grilled chicken with mac & cheese. This is my personal favouite. When I dine at Andes restaurant, I will also order the cheese pasta as one of my sides. The chicken is quite a decent portion, so I feel that this is worth every penny. 3. Fiery chicken with spaghetti. The chicken has a nice grilled aftertaste, and the tomato sauce has a slight spiciness, thus it's name. The spaghetti is slightly undercooked though. Otherwise, this would also be a perfect dish. 4. Chicken chop with black pepper sauce. I like the potato cubes that come with this dish. They taste really good, and thankfully, they are not too soft or overcooked. However, I feel that the black pepper sauce is too overwhelming, and it completely eclipses the taste of the grilled chicken. If you are a black pepper chicken lover, then this dish might be for you. Overall, I am quite pleased with the dishes from Andes. I will do another review some time soon as I chanced upon new dishes at 7-11 as well. See also our Tiktok channel. Since the first Tulipmania in 2013, this year's Tulipmania ended on the 14th Novermber 2021. It’s one of the largest floral displays in Singapore, returning after a two-year break. This is partly due to the current ongoing pandemic.
On display is one of the largest collection of tulips sourced from New Zealand. Not many people know that tulips actually originated from Central Asia, contrary to it's popularity in Holland. In the 16th century, tulip bulbs were brought back to Turkey where they were planted in the gardens of the rich and powerful. Every year, when the tulips were in bloom, a big party was held by Sultan Suleyman the First. Amid the blooms at Gardens by the Bay is a yurt, which is borrowed from the Embassy of Kazakhstan. It is handmade by Kazakh craftsmen using traditional techniques without any nails or screws. There are also stalls displaying baskets of spices and fruits, which forms an important trade on the Silk Road. In the Cloud Forest, I happened to chance upon a couple taking a wedding shoot. Looking at all the beautiful flowers, one cannot help but wish their marriage would also bloom beautifully. If you missed out this year's Tulipmania, please watch our video where we captured all the beautiful moments! Chances you have tried at least one flavour of Pocky in your entire lifetime. In this video, I will try out all the flavours that can be found in Singapore. 1. Chocolate Japanese edition. This is slightly bitter as compared to the classic chocolate that we normally find in the supermarkets. Overall taste is good. 2. Strawberry Japanese edition. It taste pretty much the same as the classic strawberry, only difference is that the sticks are made of chocolate as well. The chocolate taste is not very strong, so it complements very well with the strawberry taste. 3. Classic chocolate. This flavour needs no introduction. If you have not eaten this before, then you are probably living in a cave. 4. Classic strawberry. An equally common flavour found in our supermarkets. 5. Watermelon (limited edition). It looks very much like a strawberry stick, but the taste gives it all away. The watermelon taste is mild, with a cooling sensation. Not bad. Grab it before it's taken off the shelves. 6. Blueberry yogurt with whole wheat. This is relatively new and it has a rich blueberry taste. This is one of my favourites in the list. The biscuit is made of whole wheat, so I suppose it's healthy? 7. Chocolate almond with whole wheat. This has a slight bitter chocolate taste, which overwhelms the taste of almond. So I feel this is not a very good combination. 8. Cookies & cream. This is my all-time favourite. It has a rich cookies taste and you have to try it to taste for yourself. There is enough chocolate, so it is not overwhelming as well. 9. Green tea matcha. I expected this to be slightly bitter since it's made of green tea. Surprisingly, it is rather sweet, with a slight overdose of sugar. If you like green tea products, this is probably something you should try. 10. Choco banana. The coating has a banana essence flavour, and the sticks are made of chocolate. I am a little disappointed as I thought this would be a combination of chocolate and banana coating. Nonetheless, the taste is still ok. I feel that this is a little expensive though. 11. Mango. This has a very convincing and refreshing mango taste. If you like mango products, this might be something that you can check out as well. Love snacks? You will also absolutely love EatMYLJ chilli snacks as well! The Kaws: Holiday exhibition at The Float @ Marina Bay will continue after a dramatic turn of events where the court lifted an earlier order to stop the exhibition. The 42m-long inflatable work by popular American artist Kaws will go on display from now till 21st November. After a tour that included stops in parts of Asia such as South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Europe like the UK, American artist KAWS’ installation has finally arrived in Singapore. It is modelled after a Mickey Mouse-esque character KAWS created called Companion, which reclines on the grass field at The Float @ Marina Bay. The weather has been really good these few days, so drop-by and take a few pictures before it is gone! How to get there: Nearest MRT stations: City Hall, Promenade. Admission is free. These Ovaltine items from Taiwan are available at Sheng Siong @ $5.90 each. 1. Chocolate maltose cracker sandwich. Personally, I find this item to be a little too hard to chew. It lacks taste as well, but suitable for those who do not like things that are too sweet. The ones that taste really good are those salted egg maltose biscuits from Taiwan, so I feel this is a failed attempt by Ovaltine. Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars. 2. Maltose chocolate pearl caramel. This has a chewy texture, and sweetness level is just nice. It tends to get stuck to the teeth though, so you might want to eat in moderation. Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars. 3. Malted chocolate nougat biscuit. This is my personal favourite from the list. This is also rather chewy, and texture very much like any Taiwanese nougat biscuit. 1 is not enough! I ended up eating almost half the pack after the video shoot. Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars. 4. Malted chocolate toast. It has a crunchy texture, and there are some grains of sugar on this toast. It is not very sweet, with a slight hint of bitterness, probably due to the chocolate. It tends to get very dry, especially after the first bite. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
